Yoga changed the course of my life
Yoga reminds me of the incredible capacity our body has to remember muscle movements, even when you haven’t tried them in a long time. I guess that’s why it’s aptly called muscle memory. Whenever I practice, I notice a change in mindset. The movements not only condition my body, but my mind and my very soul. Focusing on yourself, treating yourself, and giving yourself time and space to think can actually accelerate your productivity and creativity. Remember that centering yourself is of utmost importance - not only for yourself, but your family, friends, co-workers and children. I love yoga. It’s in the very fabric of my being and my body to move in this beautiful way. I know yoga isn’t everyone’s “cup of tea” and it wasn’t mine until I discovered it at 31 years old. But it is me. It is a part of me. And it changed the course of my life - including being the glue that tied me and my husband together when we were first falling in love. I want my children to grow up in a house where my kids see their parents taking care of themselves. Yoga is a part of that.
